Bring on the heat

It's been kind of warm here in the Great Lakes. How warm? Warm enough that the water temperature of Lake Michigan is swimmable.

Beach goers like that warm weather, and so does Buddleia. These guys have just been waiting for the warm, sunny days of summer. Lo & Behold® 'Blue Chip Jr.' is a special selection of butterfly bush because it's both sterile and reblooms without needing deadheading. If you're in a region where Buddleia can be invasive, this is a great choice for you.

Short stuff

Lo & Behold® 'Blue Chip Jr.' grows just 1.5-2.5' tall and wide. It's a good option for container gardens, and can even be enjoyed like an annual in colder areas - it's hardy in USDA 5-9. Don't overwinter in a container unless you're in a very mild climate, though.
